Door installation or window installation is not a straight forward job.

While normal carpenters may install a door which at the end opens and shuts, it doesn’t mean that they installed the door in a correct manner.

Door installation like window installation requires skills, experience, and knowledge.

Knowledge about various hardware, door locks  with all its variations such as latch locks, RFID locks, sliding doors locks….etc.

And knowledge about door closers, and various door closer fittings, door holders, access control items, panic bars…etc.

Professional door installer should have knowledge about a lot of hardware components , and if you consider the number of variations and functions each hardware component has, you will certainly understand that a professional installer should have a lot of knowledge.

This knowledge is a must , to manage to install the door correctly, no matter if it is a front door installation or interior door installation, door installation requires skills , knowledge, and experience.

In general, security installation and specifically security door installation or security window installation is much more complex than installing normal doors or windows  for a few reasons:

1. At the end, you’re dealing with security window installation or security door installation, such installation should be done correctly & perfectly . Otherwise, the door or the window will not function as it should be functioning , thus it will not be secure anymore. Do you imagine that you have spent a decent amount of money on a security door or a security window that is not functioning properly? because you have installed your security door or security window incorrectly, you have lost all the benefit of obtaining such expensive door or window.

4. Some types of security doors are even more complex to install such as security sliding doors , security glass doors.

Such types have automatic operators moving them, or delicate heavy glass items on them, installing such doors require additional skills, knowledge & extra care from the team installing them.

Door installation & window installation is not a difficult thing, but installing  a security door or a security window which weighs 250 KG, perfectly plumbed equipped with complex hardware, functioning perfectly, to install such product  , is not a straight forward job at all!
